Dear friends,
I want to first start by praising God for His goodness and mercy this week. As we continue in our fourth week of our “One Month to Live Campaign”, God has ever increased our attendance and we praise Him for this milestone. In fact, 2 weeks ago, our service topped out at 466 between both services hearing the Word of God! To Him be the glory, great things He has done. We know that God is doing something in our town and we pray that our town would come to know the Savior enter into His goodness. There are still many people in our town who don’t know the love of Christ and we continue to push forward preaching and teaching God’s Word.
This past week, we discussed relationships together and how at times, they are complicated to say the least. In fact, the Mountain of Misunderstanding tends to creep up on us when we least expect it. Have you ever been misunderstood? Well welcome to the team and be ready for it when it comes. This week, we will be talking about “Learning Humbly” and how Jesus submitted Himself to the will of the Father through his sacrificial death at Calvary. Bring a friend this week to New Life Community Church as we continue to embark on this journey together.
Here are some upcoming happenings that I want to leave you with this week. I hope and pray that your week is filled with joy from on high.
Gabe and I covet your prayers next week as we preach revival services under a tent at Craigs Baptist Church in Spotsylvania, VA. A full week of music, fun and preaching will take place each night. Plan to attend and bring a friend with you. Our good friend John Swain has been gracious enough to allow us to come and render the Word of God for that week. Below are some details for this event.

Fall Revival
7:00 p.m.
- Gabe Turner and Josh Turner (The Sons of Thunder) will be preaching Revival services
- There will be special music each night of the revival
Attention: This Sunday, September 13th, the Point will be having another Preview Service beginning at 6 pm. The service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 1675 Avon Street Ext., Charlottesville, VA
The quarterly informational meeting scheduled at New Life for Sunday Night has been rescheduled for the following Sunday, September 20 at 6 pm. Let's come on out and support the Point Church!
