Dear friends,
Our week has been overloaded with blessings throughout our church as we celebrate the presence of God among us. There has been a special moving of God lately throughout our fellowship and recently we have seen several people surrender their hearts to Christ! Yes God is changing lives and we must give Him the glory. I am amazed and I have shared with some of you just how the gospel is able to cross age barriers, racial barriers, and cultural barriers to change lives. This month, we have started in I Corinthians 15 and ironically, the whole chapter is referring to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Jesus Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day! Is there any other message that needs to heralded louder in our day? This Sunday once again, we will be working our way verse by verse through this amazing chapter in the Bible. I can promise you that death won’t be as intimidating by the time we get to the end! Oh isn’t God good my friends?

Ok this Sunday, one of our very own, Trey Singleton will be ordained into the gospel ministry. We will have a celebration meal right after church and then launch into the service. If possible, if you plan to attend, please bring your favorite dish whether its a main course or desserts. There will be singing and praising along with the laying on of hands. Bro. Trey has met with an ordination counsel and they have unanimously approved his candidacy for the gospel calling. Please plan on attending this special event for Trey and Kelli Singleton.
This past Wednesday night, many of those who recently got saved, testified to their new found faith. Here are some words to describe what they were feeling: relieved, released, happy, set free, and fabulous! Jesus still meets us at the cross with the glorious benefits of salvation!

On another amazing NOTE, Easter Sunday will be our first Sunday morning service at the Gordonsville Campus. Pastor John will be taking the reigns to launch this new work on Sunday morning. We pray that you will let the word out in that community that God is on the move and our prayer for this town is that God will touch the hearts of many who were here. God is not done with small towns but in my view, He always takes the seemingly insignificant and does miracles with them. Keep the team who will be going in your prayers.
Last Sunday afternoon, we were able to fellowship with Standing on the Promises of God Church on Waldrop Church Road. My friends, all I can describe to you is that God was pleased with the universal church coming together to praise Jesus. These folks always bless us and treat us so kindly when we go spend the afternoon with them. I have included some shots below that will be a blessing to you.

Also, our wonderful ladies celebrated a healthy Saturday last week with Joanna Faillace and some of the wonderful recipes that are found in her cookbook. There were ladies from several of our other ministry areas that were present. Thank you ladies for making this a great event. Looks like fun! Pastor John brought the message and from what I can gather, there was not a dry eye in the place. Great job Pastor John.

On another note, our mission team leader, Cheryl Holland just spoke to me today and they have secured 16 plane tickets for Nicaragua! What an amazing trip this will be as we send our own people into this country to do ministry. I am amazed at just how far we have come in the last few years. God has allowed us to send folks all over the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The team is currently raising funds to help pay for this trip. Stay tuned for some fun and unique fund raising opportunities to help this team get under way. They have stepped out on faith and know that God wants them to go; however, many of them are still in great need of funding. If you are able to help some of team financially, we would greatly appreciate this kind investment into the kingdom of God. You can send check to NLCC, c/o Nicaragua, P.O. Box 502, Louisa, VA 23093. The team will be doing medical, building, evangelism, and children’s ministries while there. My prayer is that God would touch the hearts of those going and will go to new levels with God. Would you help us pray for our team as they prepare to go?
