Dear Friends,

Well it has been some time since I have written and I must say that time has slipped away from me these past few weeks. We are still working our way through I Corinthians and even skipping around some depending on what we have going on. Last week we talked about the importance of the Lord’s Supper and how it’s one of our ordinances that we practice as Christians. Paul gave specific instructions to the church on conducting the Lord’s Supper and how our hearts should be when we come to the table. We did things a little different this time as we allowed people to examine themselves first and then come to the front as God leads. I believe this process allowed for a more biblical and reverent approach to the Lord’s Supper.

We also had a special interview with one of our members, Deb Grys who is now in California preparing for a kidney transplant. She has actually volunteered one of her kidneys to her best friend Bonnie. Our prayer is that her procedure would go well. The most amazing part of the story is that not only is Deb giving Bonnie a shot at living longer, but Deb also won Bonnie to Christ a while back. Bonnie is now serving God in her church back in California.

On another note, things have been exciting around New Life to say the least. Our auditorium is undergoing some much-needed renovations and the final product will be grand indeed. I am pumped about what this auditorium is going to look like in a few weeks. This week, we hope to hang a lighting truss from the ceiling to accommodate some much needed spot lights and choir microphones. To say the least, the atmosphere around here is ecstatic and overflowing with the power of God! We have seen several souls surrender to God lately and this month, we will stir the baptism waters one more time with about 12 souls coming forward for baptism.

Pray that the renovation project would go smooth and all of the work would be done in time for our Easter Drama beginning on Good Friday. The drama team has been working overtime to remember their parts. You won’t want to miss this amazing production that will clearly share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Right now, we are in need of those who can sew and help make the costumes. If this is you, please contact Sheli Null at 540-872-7037 (srvnh1m@gmail.com) She is looking for anyone who can help her during the week morning or afternoon. If all you can do is cut fabric that is a huge help. Thanks to all who are currently helping out with props, building, etc. Below is our personal invite to you and your friends to come out and be a part of this amazing event. Here is some trivia: As you look at the picture, who/where is the view from?

In addition, Wednesday nights have been “CRAZEE” at New Life with tons of kids from all ages, hanging out with us. Two weeks ago, Mr. Pelloni reported that we had over 160 kids in attendance that night. I ask that you pray for our teenagers as the leadership team presents the gospel every Wed. night. It has been a privilege for me to be able to work with these guys and hear their stories. Many of the kids are un-churched and need to know the Savior. What an opportunity for us to be able to share the life-changing message of the cross with these kids while they are still young. Another cool thing is that many of these guys are attending church on Sunday morning.

Well there is so much more going but for now, I believe I will close. I hope you are enjoying the beautiful week and while you are outdoors, God will speak truth into your life. As always, if there is any way that we can help, please feel free to give us a call. Thanks again for listening.
