Dear Friends,
As we prepare for the upcoming Easter season, let us remember what it's all about: Jesus Christ has risen from the dead and he reigns supreme. We will be celebrating the resurrection over the whole weekend beginning on Good Friday and concluding Easter Sunday morning. We will be having a sunrise service and serving breakfast afterwards with an Easter Celebration following.
The Vision Casting meeting for the Easter Week Drama is Monday night the 16th from 7-9 pm at New Life Community Church. We will preview the drama, do final casting, and delegate assignments for all technical teams, including costumes, sets, props, etc.
This is the meeting for anyone who wishes to be involved in the Easter Week Drama, including singers and musicians. Please attend if you are a singer or musician who is not already a member of the praise team, and you want to participate in the Choir or Praise Team for the Easter production.
(PS: This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to join the Music Ministry on a regular basis. If you cannot attend the meeting, but want to participate in the Easter Week Drama, you must let Kelli Singleton (tresingleton@yahoo.com) or Jeff Benz (jeffbenz@comcast.net) know as soon as possible. Please consider coming out and getting involved in this outreach event. The following list below is what we need to pull this great event off:
- Praise Team musicians
- Choir and ensemble vocalists
- Actors and actresses for speaking and non-speaking roles
- Technical support for sound, video and lighting, set movement
- Stage manager(s) and stage hands to coordinate set/prop movement and placement of cast
- Set and prop construction
- Costumes
- Artwork
- Administrative support
- Problem solvers . . . folks who can be given unique tasks . . . and find a way to make to “make it happen”
ALSO, this Saturday night the 21st, beginning at 7 pm, is Family Movie Night and we will be showing the movie, "FIREPROOF". You will want to bring your spouse out to this event and ask God to minister to your heart.
God bless and have a great week.
Pastor Josh
